Rev. Douglas Rollwage( email revdoug@zionpres.org) has been engaged in ministry in the Presbyterian Church in Canada for the last 20 years, serving congregations in Amherstview, Unionville and Kingston, (all in Ontario) as well as serving for three years as a Federal Penitentiary Chaplain in Kingston. He has degrees in theology from Central Pentecostal College (University of Saskatchewan), Queen's Theological College (Queen's University), and Knox College (University of Toronto). For the past thirteen years, Rev. Rollwage has served the congregation of Guildwood Community Presbyterian Church, and is now inducted as Senior Minister of Zion Presbyterian Church, Charlottetown.
Additional to his responsibilities as Minister of Word and Sacrament, Rev. Rollwage has served the church locally in many roles, including Convenor of the Business Committee and Moderator of the Presbytery of Pickering, and nationally on the Assembly Council of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, and as ongoing resource to the Clerks of Assembly. Rev. Rollwage has represented the Presbyterian Church in Canada as Secretary of the Canadian Christian Jewish Consultation, the national forum of discussions between the Canadian Jewish Congress, the Canadian Council of Churches, and the Conference of Catholic Bishops. He most recently represented the Consultation at the inauguration of the new Holocaust Museum at Yad Vashem in Israel.
Rev. Rollwage is married to Dana, his wife of 23 years. They have two children, Hannah (14) and Jacob (10). His hobbies include astronomy and the guitar, and walking the Rollwage Beagle, Hershey.
